We are on the road!!

Okay friends, sorry for radio silence the past couple of days. As you know from the previous blog, we made the decision to head to Columbia, Missouri to procure our new home. We did it!!

We are in LOVE with this beauty (who is named Leigh btw)! Gander RV was so awesome in letting us spend about 4 hours "moving in" yesterday - they even took our broken-down boxes off our hands!!

Gander RV in Columbia, MO was just amazing all the way around!! From Oz (sales manager) to Ricky (sales) to Byron (parts/service) to Clint (financing) and the girls at the front area (sorry, didn't get their names) we felt completely heard, understood, and looked out for. HIGHLY recommend doing business with them!

In an attempt to find better weather for our first night setting up and sleeping in Leigh, we headed to Kansas!

We stayed at a nice KOA in Lawrence. We arrived a bit later than anticipated but we are kinda proud of our little selves in getting set up (again, FIRST time) with utilities! Only took about 45 minutes...for all you seasoned RVers, you're allowed to snicker a bit at us here. 😉 I personally think our process went smoothly partially due to the fact we were residing on Yellow Brick Rd (hee hee, Kansas, get it?)!

Anyway, we slept like babies in our new home last night! Today we are heading further south. Not too far, as we've discovered we have some adjustments to our equalizer hitch that require attention. But hopefully we will be somewhere DRY!
